Hello and welcome to Meg With Love!

My name is Megan and I am the voice behind Meg With Love. I am also a mom of two, wife, daughter, and aspiring momfluencer.

When I first came up with Meg With Love, I intended to post nutritional facts, food science information, and recipes that I developed. However, life threw me some unexpected curve balls and caused me to reassess my priorities.

After developing OCD and ulcerative colitis, my mental health started to go into a tail spin. For close to 5 years, I’ve struggled with trying to reclaim my sense of self with little success.

That all changed when I became pregnant with my second child. I realized that I could no longer be a prisoner to my own mental jail. I wanted to become a better version of myself so that I could be the best mother possible for my daughter and my unborn son. All during 2018, I tried, along with my husband’s help, to overcome these mental barricades and managed to become a teeny bit better.

As 2019 started, I decided that enough was enough. I wanted to officially take back my life as seriously as I could. I decided to restart Meg With Love with a new purpose in mind: self care.

So, this is my restart. This is my journey to returning to the carefree, adventurous individual that has long been hidden within my mind. Thank you so much for joining me on this journey! I look forward to sharing my recovery with all of you.
